Skin cancer, one of the most common forms of cancer globally, can be daunting yet is often highly preventable and treatable when detected early. While trained medical practitioners are the primary professionals responsible for diagnosing skin cancer, we, as a community, can make a significant difference. Everyone, from healthcare professionals to teachers, beauticians, tattoo artists and even neighbours can contribute to the prevention and early detection of skin cancer.
